The fashion and entertainment industries are collaborating again. MR PORTER has launched a Suits & Style microsite in partnership with USA Network to promote its dramatic series “Suits.” The microsite features original editorial content, photography, behind-the-scenes footage of season two and exclusive interviews with stars Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams.
The British Fashion Council today launch their first nationwide search for emerging film-making talent, as part of their Fash/On Film initiative sponsored by River Island, inviting up-and-coming directors to submit film ideas in response to criteria set by leading British designer Emilio de la Morena in conjunction with Fash/On Film. The film will showcase Emilio’s pre-spring 2013 collection.
Did you love our Snow White and The Huntsman interior inspiration?
Well, that work of art didn’t happen overnight. In fact, it took more than three weeks to source the dinnerware and table accessories, three days to paint and sew the table cloth and the artwork (all custom made), one day to build the actually tablescape with plant life and then 24 hours to shoot the entire scene (lighting, fog and dry ice aren’t exactly as easy as up-dos and braids).
So as you may now, FMM is a promotional partner of the Universal Pictures upcoming movie Snow White And The Huntsman that premieres June 1st, 2012 (Yep, just two more weeks!) In anticipation of the film, Macala and the FMM staff were inspired to merge fashion and interiors for an incredible Snow White and The Huntsman-inspired dinner party. The costumes, set design and imagery in this film are nothing short of works of art in themselves, and we wanted to explore them by creating a dark forest environment.
How many of you are excited for Snow White and The Huntsman to make its debut June 1st? I know we are! In anticipation of the film, FMM contributor Sade Strehlke (who’s also a blogger for the campaign) took a tour of Colleen Atwood’s costume designs for the film on the Universal lot today.

Universal Pictures has signed a brand licensing partnership deal with HSN, the leader in multi-channel retail, to create an online pop-up shop with exclusive merchandise inspired by the upcoming feature film, Snow White and the Huntsman, which opens June 1. The 24-hour HSN event will take place on Wednesday, May 30, across all of HSN’s platforms, including TV, HSN.com and HSN mobile. HSN’s Snow White and the Huntsman-inspired collection will be curated by top HSN designers, who have selected exclusive products reflecting the spirit of the film.
