Club Monaco & Tommy Ton Launch Global Social Giveaway
How many of you spotted Tommy Ton running around New York with a really cool Navy canvas and leather bag during Fashion Week? Well, we did.
Yes, the rumors are true. Tommy Ton has become the latest mainstream blogger to partner with a large brand for a bag collection. And it’s gorgeous. Check the campaign here on Facebook if you don’t believe us!
Launched in time to celebrate their upcoming e-commerce website, Club Monaco is making a splash with a Facebook social campaign and contest that features lucrative incentives for its participants.
How to enter: To participate, all entrants have to do is enter their credentials on Facebook, select the four things they want to see in Ton’s bag for a chance to win.
“We created a program that stays true to our brand philosophy of ‘Get Inspired by what inspires us,’ but also allows that philosophy to revolve around the bag collaboration we have created with Tommy Ton,” said Ann Watson, VP of Marketing at Club Monaco. “So in staying true to our brand, we turned it into a program that’s built on everything that inspired Tommy and Tommy’s favorite things.”
To add value and insight to this collaboration, Ton will also be a featured contributor on Culture Club, Club Monaco’s brand blog, where he’ll be showcase all the prizes
that are being given away during this global social campaign.
“We made sure there was a low social threshold for people to engage with our sweepstakes; the collective votes on Tommy Ton’s favorite things from everyone who enters, determines the ultimate prize pack contained in the signed Tommy Ton bag that the winner will be receiving,” said Watson. “Overall, we managed to partner with multiple partners across the world, and pulled together the following for each market (US/Canada/Hong Kong/UK), so that our brand fans and Ton’s fans could all participate.”

The winner of the global giveaway will receive:
- $1,500 shopping spree at Club Monaco (including $500 towards e-commerce when it launches)

- Prize packs will include, based on entrants’ votes: iPod Nano Touch, Nintendo 3DS, museum membership, Ton’s favorite headphones, gift certificates to Ton’s favorite food places
