Conde Nast + Uniqlo Support Japan With Celeb Tees

You can always count on the fashion industry to step up and do whatever it can to support an important cause. Uniqlo and Conde Nast have teamed up to help rebuild Japan with the help of the Japanese Red Cross.

The project is based on a T-shirt collection created with the help of 10 celebrities. The celebs include: Lady Gaga, Karl Lagerfeld, Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Alber Elbaz,Cyndi Lauper, Blake Lively, Charlize Theron, Orlando Bloom and Victoria Beckham.

Publishers of Vogue Japan and GQ Japan have teamed together with Conde Nast Group to recruit some of the most popular celebrities to help design the T-shirts as they work for the ‘Save Japan’ campaign. The two companies wanted to make sure that everyone could have a part in purchasing and helping the cause, so the casual T-shirt is set to retail at an affordable $19.90.

Although Uniqlo has already donated $25.6 million to Japan, they want to continue to make a difference in the relief effort. Their mission is to raise an additional $12 million.

These tees will be available for purchase on Uniqlo.com starting on June 25th.
